Along with a handful of other DJ/producer veterans like the Plumps, Krafty Kuts and Rennie Pilgrim, the Stanton Warriors have risen to the upper echelon of the breakbeat community, nothing if not consistent and turning everything they touch to gold. Fusing their sound with generous lashings of urban sass, electro and tech, they’ve been responsible for a steady flow of original tunes, edits and remixes over the past few years – but recently, the only place we’ve been able to hear them has been in their DJ sets. Until now that is – brace yourselves for Stanton Sessions vol. 3.
And they’ll be getting revered London nightclub Fabric in on the act. We got the good work from the boys themselves. “Coming off the back of an absolutely mental worldwide tour schedule, we thought it was the right time to drop another Stanton Sessions comp. It’s going to be the 3rd installment of the series and contain all the unique tracks, edits and remixes that define our sound today. We have been playing and running our Sessions nights successfully at fabric for 8 years now, so it seems only natural to continue this partnership with the release.”
And you reckon we’ll get some the live dates to back the compilation up? You bet. The Stantons will be kicking things off with the album launch at FabricLive on Friday October 24, which is to be followed by a slot at the Amsterdam Dance Event before traveling through the UK, Europe, USA, Japan, South America and yes… Australia.
Excited? Stanton Sessions vol. 3 hits the shelves in late October, stay tuned to ITM for details of an Australian tour later this year.
