Can you believe the Chemical Brothers clocked up 15 years on the scene this year? Since starting out back in 1993, no one could argue they’ve grown to become one of the most important duos in electronic music history. They’ve got a new single out now, ‘Midnight Madness’, which is released to coincide with their best of album ‘Brotherhood’ (erm, obviously they’re forgetting their ‘The Singles: 93-03’ release here!) out later this month.
To celebrate the best of and single release the Chems have kicked off a worldwide search for fans to contribute their own vision to the making of the ‘Midnight Madness’ film clip. The video is due to premier on YouTube the same week ‘Brotherhood’ is released, so if you fancy a global platform to get your ideas out there, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
If you have a short film or photograph that fits within the theme of ‘Midnight Madness’, just upload it through the Chemical Brothers’ website to Google Earth and tag your location. The best of the bunch will be chosen by production team Nexus. Submissions should be anywhere from 2 to 20 seconds, and must be entered before August 25th.
