Paul Oakenfold advised Brits trying to crack America to ‘park their egos’ this week, telling the Times ‘imported arrogance doesn’t go down well’. He also recommended staying up to date with technology for DJing longevity, though conceded he’s struggling with juggling life commitments more since becoming a Dad.

“I have a very understanding girlfriend but I know that sometimes I drive her mad,” the definitive superstar jock confessed. “Altering patterns of behaviour established over the course of 20-odd years isn’t easy but I’m trying. My son Roman’s doing his bit, too. A two-year-old doesn’t care about your work schedule. He just smacks you in the face to say, ‘Give me some attention!’”

US superstar jock Roger Sanchez also discussed his newfound father status in the latest issue of Mixmag, revealing ‘I’m married with a baby daughter now’. “My downtime is a little bit different now,” he added. “My wind-down time consists of playing with Soleil’s Hello Kitty dolls.”
