It’s not often the worlds of Chicago house and deep minimal techno converge, but recently at Romania’s Sunwaves Festival two of the scene’s most revered identities thought it was high time they met in the middle. The resulting set has been doing the rounds online, with a rather tasty 14 minute video shot from inside DJ booth featuring on the Beatfactor website right now.

The video shows Sneak (replete with his legendary ‘sweat towel’) and Villalobos very much getting into the ‘spirit’ of things, ahem, in a tent that’s packed to the rafters. The festival also featured US house legend Danny Tenaglia, so it would’ve been a remarkable day no doubt. It’s got us hoping Villalobos and Sneaky hurry up and get back down under soon. A little birdie tells us Sneak’s return isn’t too far off, with dates being locked in for November. Fingers crossed!
