Next time your Great Aunt Dolores starts screeching that the ‘doof doof’ you listen to is tripe and that it’s time you started enjoying “real music, like The Beatles,” you can fire back with this one… Paul McCartney is coming out with a new dance album under his electronic alias The Fireman this November! The album is called Electronic Arguments, and it features 13 tracks, all written by McCartney.
It’s not the first time McCartney’s put music out under The Fireman pseudonym; the last official album from the project was Rushes in 1998. NME reports that the album was made over the space of a year, however each individual track was written and recorded in one day. It sees him working with The Verve’s producer Youth, who is also a member of Killing Joke.

I wouldn't exactly call the Fireman album(s) 'dance' - more 'electronic.' Besides, Paul McCartney doing electro isn't exactly a new thing - check out his 'Permanent Secretary' track

Youth has done some great production work over the years (Depeche Mode in particular) and McCartney has tried his hand at a couple of more dance friendly tracks over the years....this could be interesting.
