Canadian wunderkind Deadmau5 is the hottest topic amongst dance fans worldwide right now, with his debut LP Random Album Title now in stores. Released by Ultra Records in North America and Ministry of Sound in the UK, it’s not surprising they’ve got their PR and marketing guys working overtime to come up with crafty ways of promoting the album.
Perhaps one of the cutest publicity gimmicks we’ve seen in some time, you can now get your hands on a Deadmau5 USB flash drive, shaped just like his iconic ‘Mau5head’ stage costume. Produced by Anderra Inc, the flash drive comes loaded with an hour-long DJ mix, videos and wallpapers.
The flash drives were given out free at a Deadmau5 concert in New York recently, and at this stage it seems they may remain a collectors item as we haven’t heard if you’ll be able to buy them. Keep your eyes on eBay if you’re a hardcore fan, or if we hear of them being sold anywhere we’ll let you know!

thats awesome! new album rocks btw, but there are a few tracks missing that i would have liked to be on there - in particular his newie "ghosts n stuff", though admittedly its a dif sound to the rest of the album... wooo deadmau5 @ vibes!

Yeah the sets he has been putting together lately have been epic! Listen to his latest radio one set with Pete Tong at warehouse project. “Ghosts n stuff” sends shivers down my spine every time. Cant wait for good vibes.

deadmau5 what a genius! New album and essential mix are awesome.. One track that i cant find anywhere.. The Reward is more cheese. Its on the essential mix so i guess that will do for now.
