After two albums of immaculately crafted electro-pop, Canadian duo Junior Boys will deliver a third this April. Since the release of So This Is Goodbye in 2006, there’s been little downtime for Jeremy Greenspan and Matthew Didemus. They’ve contributed an edition to the excellent Body Language DJ-mix series, been remixed by many a tastemaker (not least the Grammy-nominated Carl Craig) and dabbled in side-projects. Greenspan’s beguiling voice was last showcased on Morgan Geist’s Double Night Time; one of 2008’s finest releases.

Album number three from Junior Boys will be called Begone Dull Care. It was put together with Greenspan at home in Ontario, while Didemus beamed his contributions from his base in Berlin. “On Begone Dull Care, there isn’t a single sound emitted that feels out of place or like an afterthought,” trumpets the album’s press release. We’re inclined to believe it. The disc is set for release on 7 April in the US, so a local release couldn’t be far behind.

Can't wait! Great news.. Jeremy Greenspan was absolutely amazing on Mogran Giests Double Night Time... Wonder if this will get another 9.9/10 on pitchfork? lol
