Club brand Azuli are kicking off a brand new compilation series next month, The Global Guide 09, which seeks to offer something different to the norm with your standard mix CD. As well as a double disc of the latest floorfilling house and electro tunes, they’ve included their own guide to the world’s best clubs and festivals.

Coming out on top as the best club worldwide, it’s Space in Ibiza, however Australia also features in the booklet, with our three finest locations listed as Tank (Sydney), Onesixone (Melbourne) and Chinese Laundry (Sydney). It’s not the only appearance the down under scene made, with Good Vibrations also featuring in the top 10 festivals worldwide ranking at #6. Burning Man in the US topped the festivals list.

Azuli presents Global Guide 09 is released on February 16th and features tracks from Deadmau5, Sebastien Leger, Axwell, Mark Knight, Sebastian Ingrosso, and even our very own TV Rock.

I've got a nose liek a horse and I smell something very odourous. Would good vibes and chinese Laundry have something in common? Would there be advertising / contra involved in being on these lists?

Bollocks. Paid advertising, clearly. Shame that no decent festivals got in. When a list overlooks Splendour and BDO for Good Vibes, they aren't even pretending to be credible.
