Things had been silent from the Dirty Vegas camp for 4 years now, the trio seemingly collapsing into a black hole after two albums and several classic singles including the Grammy Award winning Days Go By (you remember the clip, the one with the breakdancing dude!)

After their self imposed exile the band are now set to return, announcing a new record deal with Mark Knight’s rapidly expanding Toolroom Records empire. Made up of original members Ben Harris, Paul Harris (no relation) and Steve Smith, they’ve also unveiled their first new single, a return to their dance roots called Pressure.

“We’re very proud to be associated with one of the worlds finest dance bands,” Toolroom trumpeted in a press release last week. “Toolroom have worked with Paul Harris from the start, so when we heard of the reform we started talking and the band decided that Toolroom were the right partners for them to re-launch into the market.”

Pressure has so far been championed by Pete Tong on his influential Radio 1 Essential Selection show, and it was also one of the most popular tracks at the Amsterdam Dance Event late last year. The second single Changes is expected in March/April to coincide with the Winter Music Conference in Miami.
