Rumours are abound at the moment that progressive house godfather Sasha has teamed up with his longtime studio partner Charlie May and John ‘Quivver’ Graham to form a live band.

At this stage there’s not a whole lot of concrete info to go on, other than a few excited blog postings and some hopeful MySpace messages. “Fuckin’ hell, you and Sasha…” wrote one Quivver fan. “[It] will be like Vangelis and Jarre, kicking back with Oldfield and Kraftwerk... This will be worth waiting for!”

Beatportal are similarly eager to find out more. “The trio are allegedly planning to record music, and also do live performances together as a band on stages across the world,” they wrote of the mooted collaboration.

Stay tuned to ITM for further details as they emerge.
