In wholly unsurprising news, repeat festival offender Amy Winehouse has cancelled her appearance at Coachella this April. The coveted headline slot was set to be her return to the stage after allegedly going straight.
According to a festival spokesperson, Winehouse will not be making the trip in “light of current legal issues.” The shambolic pop star was having trouble securing a US visa after being charged with assault last week for allegedly attacking a fan.
To soften the blow of her cancellation, Coachella organisers have announced a new batch of less-volatile acts, including The Orb, The Chemical Brothers and Etienne de Crecy. You can refresh your memory on the rest of the line-up here.
