What’s a music festival without naked acid casualties? Clearly the cops at American uber-event Coachella don’t share the opinion, instead choosing to take down this poor tripper who was no longer interested in wearing his wizard’s robe… naturally. Shrinkage not withstanding, the clip is not entirely safe for work so don’t watch it if you’re easily offended.
The three portly cops involved in the fracas should be commended for their valiant efforts in reprimanding the lone-nude reveller. It’s surprising it took them so long to pull out the taser gun as the scuffle unfolded (it showed up just after an officer dropped his knee into the wizard’s chest, no less!) Of course American authorities are quite partial to a good tasering, just a few months back Kid Cudi was stunned in Texas when he got into an argument for wearing Nikes to a Reebok party. Oh the humanity…
Arguably the most anticipated music festival on the US calendar, Coachella’s 2009 event was another lavish affair with way too many acts to list right here sending audiences into a quivering mess across three-days last weekend. inthemix’s Warren G was there to party on down with the locals, and he passed on some pics of the back-stage action for a special Coachella tour diary feature.
