Fresh from picking up the support slot at Tiesto’s forthcoming London concert in Victoria Park with Calvin Harris, it seems Australia’s finest electro-pop exports Sneaky Sound System are continuing to win fans in high places with Brandon Flowers – lead singer of The Killers – personally recommending them to Stuart Price.
Why is this significant? Price produced The Killers’ most recent album Day & Age, and worked with Madonna on her Confessions on a Dance Floor album. He’s also forged himself a respected identity under a variety of pseudonyms, including Jacques Lu Cont, Les Rythmes Digitales and the Thin White Duke. Price evidently liked what he heard when Brandon turned him on to the band, as he put himself forward to remix Sneaky’s latest international release It’s Not My Problem.
Sneaky’s continued quest for global domination shows no signs of slowing down in the coming months, with a summer packed with European festival dates including Global Gathering, Wireless and Isle of Wight, as well as several appearances at Erick Morillo’s Subliminal night at Pacha Ibiza.
It’s Not My Problem is released internationally on June 29th, you can check out the Thin White Duke’s remix below:
