We’ve been following DJ Hero pretty closely since the club-themed spin-off to Guitar Hero was first announced. And as more and more details about the game have emerged, we must admit that we’re starting to get pretty damn excited about this one.

It would seem that we’re not the only ones, either. The Activision produced game has been a hit at the annual gaming conference E3 and fans flocked to a recent preview party of DJ Hero in LA where US superstars Eminem and Jay-Z performed.

In our nerdish pursuits to get as much info on the game as we can, we’ve gathered together a bunch of DJ Hero’s in-game screenshots as well as a slew of photos from the launch party.

Check ‘em out!

i don't think mixing can really translate to a 3 button controller. the pictures look pretty though

I don't think playing a guitar can really translate to 5 coloured buttons and a 'strum flap', but Guitar Hero is still fucking fun to play. Games are not always about realism, sometimes they are about having fun in an interactive pretend environment!

Looks not much better than beatmania - that game from like 10 years ago.. - even back then you could put your own songs on it etc..
