The Prodigy to collaborate with Dizzee Rascal next?

Having already worked with dance heavyweights Armand Van Helden and Calvin Harris on consecutive UK number 1’s (with another Calvin-produced track in the works), Dizzee Rascal is becoming something of a collaboration slut. The latest group to fall for Dizzee’s reckless, grimey charms? That’d iconic big beaters, The Prodigy!

Talking to the BBC at the recent Download festival, The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett let slip that the collaboration was definitely in the works. “We are going to do something at some point,” The Prodigy mainstay said, adding that the pairing was yet to happen simply because they “haven’t got to the studio yet”.

With Dizzee collaborating all this electro royalty and the news yesterday that Fatboy Slim, Justice and James Murphy could be producing the next Devo LP, collaboration fever has definitely struck hard, so we’re wondering what other dream collaborations are out there. If you’ve got one, share it with us in the comments section. We’ve got dibs on Armin van Buuren and Snoop Dogg.

Check out Dizzee’s latest collaborative affair with Armand Van Helden below. Bonkers is the right word.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!

Snoop and Chase & Status - hiphop and dubstep makes more sense than TRANCE?!?!... hopefully we'll hear more like eastern jam..
