Having clung onto the shreds of credibility that featuring music from Boys Noize, Junior Boys and our very own electro-champs The Presets afforded it, US reality show and dance contest So You Think You Can Dance has now gone and featured Ministry Of Sound whipper-snappers The Aston Shuffle on a recent episode.
In last night’s episode, The Aston Shuffle’s bouncy remix for Terry Poison’s 24 Hours served as the soundtrack for a jazz routine from dancers Melissa Sandvig and Ade Obayomi. We usually pass out after Master Chef finishes so hopefully those names mean something to those who watch the show.
The international exposure is a great win for the Aston boys and we congratulate ‘em on that. We just wish the SYTYCD people didn’t goof off and spell The Aston Shuffle as The Ashton Shuffle. Rookie mistake, guys!
Watch the dance in all its high-glam glory in the clip below, with the routine beginning at the 2:17 mark.
