News came out in late May that iconic rap trio Beastie Boys would be releasing a new album later in the year, and as is the case with anything Beasties we got excited. Maybe it’s something to do with our unfulfilled dreams of being nerds and respected rappers all at once, but we’ll always hold a candle for the B-Boys.

Accordingly, when the band’s newsletter hit fans’ mailboxes overnight, holding in it some tasty new details about the upcoming Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1, we got even more excited. The message to fans revealed that the album will contain two guest spots, the first from the untouchable Nas whilst the second feature slot falls with Santigold.

Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1 will hit shelves on September 15th, but before then the Beasties will continue to roll-out the deluxe reissues of their classic albums. Ill Communication comes repacked in July as does Hello Nasty in August, so if the new album blows, it won’t matter you’ll have so more than enough white boy swagger to keep you happy!
