A decade after their seminal French-touch primer, Moon Safari, the electro-romantics behind Air – that’s the duo of JB Dunckel and Nicholas Godin – have revealed the details of their latest record, titled Love 2.

Recorded in the duo’s own secluded studio, Atlas, in the north of Paris, Love 2 foregoes much of the outside help that the pair have had in the past, being written, performed and produced by Air themselves. With track titles like African Velvet and Sing Sang Sung it certainly sounds like Love 2 will be classic classic Air, and we’re pretty glad about that. Moon Safari still stands as a chill-out milestone and 2007’s Pocket Symphony was dangerously underrated, so it’ll be good to hear the Frenchmen again.

Love 2 is set to drop on October 4th following the release of Sing Sang Sung and first single Do The Joy, which will be available as a download next week.
