We’ve been getting steadily more and more excited for Activision’s upcoming DJ Hero video game as the release date draws closer. Being the first title in what’s sure to be another big game franchise, there’s still a sense of mystery about how it will work and what features are in store for avid bedroom DJs. Well, now we know one of the big features will be the one and only Grandmaster Flash!
The team behind the game have revealed that Grandmaster Flash will feature heavily in DJ Hero, both as an instructor and mentor for players learning the ropes of the game in DJ Hero’s tutorial levels and he has also contributed two exclusive mixes to the game. The mixes will show off Grandmaster’s inimitable mixing skills, as the deck-deity himself fuses tracks like his own Here Comes My DJ with Gary Numan’s Cars and N.E.R.D’s Lapdance with Herbie Hancock’s Rockit.
We dig the idea of having Grandmaster Flash in DJ Hero, because, really, what would be more awesome than having personal DJ lessons from Grandmaster freaking Flash? Nothing that’s what.
