If nothing else, US rapper Kid Sister has some majorly good connections. Not only did Kid Sister (aka Melisa Young) manage to secure guest spots from hip-hop heavy hitters like Kanye West and David Banner on recent singles, as well as hook ups with boyfriend A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold label, she’s also put together a jaw-dropping list of collaborators to work on her debut LP, Ultraviolet.
The list of producers on board for the album reads like a who’s who of big name producers, including house icons Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, as well as of-the-moment club folk like Sinden, XXXChange, Herve, Yuksek, Rusko as well as mainstream whiz Brian Kennedy and Parklife superstar A-Trak. Also beefing up the album are feature spots from Mr Ego himself Kanye West as well as DJ Gant-Man and Estelle.
Despite continued delays that saw the album pushed back from a late 2008 release to now, Ultraviolet is confirmed to hit the streets (or the digital realm depending on where you buy your records) on October 3rd through Inertia.
While we wait for October to roll ‘round, check out Kid Sister’s track with Kanye West, Pro Nails, below.
