Privileged as we are in Australia with wave after wave of great gigs, festivals and events, there always seems to be an abysmal gig around the corner. And we’ve all been there, whether it be a particularly shit DJ set, or instead a club vibe that turns ugly and descends into disaster. And then there are the really bad moments in dance music… So here at ITM, we decided it was well time to swing the spotlight on the nastiest of those disastrous gigs.
How bad is bad? We’re talking DJs getting thrown behind bars and roughed up by the local heavies. International guests being too blotto to even stand up at the decks. Patrons being permanently blinded by overzealous lasers. And in possibly the very worst example of horrific nightclub experiences, a punter taking a dump on the dancefloor. This is the sort of stuff that therapy can never put right again.
