After smashing up the country on their recent pulverizing national tour, Italian electro monsters The Bloody Beetroots are keeping themselves super busy with a slot on this year’s Stereosonic festival and also with the release of their anxiously awaited album, Romborama.

Due for release on August 25th Romborama will likely be one of the biggest electro records of the year, featuring previous ‘Beetroots stormers like Cornelius, Warp ft. Steve Aoki and Butter as well as new collaborations with the likes of Rawman, Vicarious Bliss and Parklife approved rap duo The Cool Kids for the new single, aptly titled Awesome. Check the tracklisting below for the full run down of Romborama’s treasures.

01. Romborama (ft. All Leather)
02. Have Mercy On Us (ft. Cécile)
03. Storm
04. Awesome (Feat. The Cool Kids)
05. Cornelius
06. It’s Better A DJ On 2 Turntables
07. Talkin’ In My Sleep (ft. Lisa Kekaula)
08. 2nd Streets Have No Name (ft. Beta Bow)
09. Butter
10. Warp 1.9 (ft. Steve Aoki)
11. Fucked From Above 1985
12. Theolonius
13. Yeyo (ft. Rawman)
14. Little Stars (ft. Vicarious Bliss)
15. Warp 7.7 (Feat. Steve Aoki)
16. Make Me Blank (ft. J. Davey)
17. House In
18. Mother
19. I Love The Bloody Beetroots
20. Anacletus

As excited as we are to finally hear the finished product, we only wish they’d done something a little less dreadful for the cover. Sure, we get that it’s gritty and punk, much like the ‘Beetroots’ music itself, but the toilet gag just seems a little puerile. Call us crazy, but there’s just something a little off about rocking out to some vicious electro wrapped up in a package like that.

Those gripes aside, we’re still pumped to experience The Bloody Beetroots again when they return for Stereosonic! Check the festival dates below and stay tuned to ITM’s festival page for more updates!

Stereosonic national tour dates:

Sat 28th November – Sydney
Sun 29th November – Perth
Sat 5th December – Adelaide
Sat 5th December – Melbourne
Sun 6th December – Brisbane
