Having confirmed his position as one of the electro community’s most enduring entities, Boys Noize is gearing up to release his second LP, the aptly titled Power at the end of September.

Power follows on from Boys Noize’s epochal distortion-drenched Oi Oi Oi record from 2007 and it’s ensuing remix collection which featured blazing reworks from the likes of Proxy, A-Trak, Feadz and Para One, so we’re immensely impressed by how quickly Boys Noize has been able to turn this one out.

Power Tracklist:

01. Gax
02. Kontact Me
03. Starter
04. Jeffer
05. Transmischen
06. Nerve
07. Trooper
08. Sweet Light
09. Drummer
10. Rozz Box
11. Nott
12. Heart Attack

A testament to the producer’s non-stop work ethic, Boys Noize will preceed Power’s release with the 12” split single Waves/Death Suite, produced by both Boys Noize and Parklife impresario Erol Alkan. Already a floor-busting favourite for European crowds, Waves and Death Suite will arrive at stores on August 31st via BN’s in-house label, Boys Noize Records. Check out a teaser of Waves in the footage below.

Speaking of Boys Noize Records, some of the boutique lable’s rising stars including Strip Steve, Shadow Dancer and Djedjotronic will be bringing the dancefloor juice our way in August for some seriously exciting club shows. Check the dates below and prepare yourself!

Thurs August 27th – Ruby Tramp, Gold Coast
Fri August 28th – Roxanne Parlour, Melbourne
Sat August 29th – Metro, Sydney
Sun August 30th – Electric Circus, Adelaide
Thur September 3rd – Monastery, Brisbane
Fri September 4th – Academy, Canberra
Sat September 5th – Shape, Perth

Totally picking this up, but yeah, not going to the gig, probably. Especially because Shape is so small and filled with really, really irritating people.

I'm very much looking forward to the BNR night. Shadow Dancer and Djedjotronic are up there with boys noize if you ask me. Also can't wait for the new album. Danmau5 - It's not claiming to be "Boys Noize".

I too was initially disappointed the man himself isn't showing, but I'm really looking forward to Shadowdancer - Golden Traxe is a great album and Roxanne is a great venue

"im not going to the BN records party - as far as im concerned it isnt boys noize if there is chris d.i.m or alex boysnoize himself there.... " D.I.M isnt 'Chris D.I.M'; there 2 different people and as other people have said Djedjotronic and Shadow Danc
