French electro wizard Vitalic had a sleeper hit with his thundering OK Cowboy album back in 2005. Coming out just behind countrymen Daft Punk’s rather underwhelming Human After All, Vitalic blew the competition out of the water with an album of thumping, robot-grinding electo. Yet despite its undeniable awesomeness, OK Cowboy failed to attract the widespread love and attention that Justice and the Ed Banger crew would achieve just a year later.

Thankfully, Vitalic (real name Pascal Arbez) hasn’t been deterred by his early arrival to the French electro party and is gearing up to release his studio follow up to OK Cowboy, entitled Flashmob this September.

From the LP’s first single, the pusling android-clubber called Your Disco Song, it would look like the enigmatic producer hasn’t missed a beat, his knack for glitchy, driving electro still firmly in tact.
