Despite the literally shitty cover art for their debut album, Romborama, we’ve gone a little nuts over The Bloody Beetroots in the last little while. After their tour decimated Australian audiences in June, the Italian electro masters got hearts pounding when it was revealed they would return to these golden shores as a part of Stereosonic’s immense summer lineup and now they’ve gone and released the video clip for the next single off of Romborama (out digitally August 21st and 28th in stores), Awesome.
In the clip below, The Bloody Beetroots and their Parklife-approved vocal guests The Cool Kids get a makeover from mother nature, morphing them into some pimped out woodland creatures. As if mirroring a regular Bloody Beetroots show, things get messy pretty quickly and, well, the result is appropriately awesome.
The video also serves as the unveiling of The Bloody Beetroots’ latest piece of merch, a limited edition designer jacket from TURBOKRAPPEN and 55DSL. There are a host of ill-considered products from dance stars looking to get into the fashion industry floating around out there, but going from the look of the new ‘Beetroots flak jacket, if you’re a big fan with a big enough wallet, you could definitely do worse than this one.
