We’ve all been there. You’re going nuts at your favourite music festival, jamming to some glorious artists playing some mind-bendingly good tunes when you suddenly get the urge to wander up and start brawling with a police horse. Wait, who are we kidding? That’s probably the most ludicrous, brain-dead idea that anyone has ever had! But still, that didn’t stop one judgmentally-challenged festival reveler from starting a punch-on with a police horse at last weekend’s Lollapalooza.
According to the Chicago Breaking News Centre, Pablo Fernandez had been detained at a local jail after he punched a police horse patrolling the massive three-day festival, Lollapalooza. Apparently, the trotter’s assailant approached the police horse and its officer with the intention to pat the animal and when he was discouraged by the police officer became aggressive and punched the horse.
Let’s pause on that note and reflect. He punched a horse. Who the hell punches a horse?
The real kicker in the report comes with the speculation that Fernandez is an illegal immigrant from Mexico, and will probably face an even greater punishment than the original reckless conduct that he’d been charged with for his horse-punching idiocy.
