Local party squad The Potbelleez have been on a pretty enormous winning streak of late, graduating from club infamy to mainstream success with their debut record and playing pretty much everywhere around the country. And although their ranking in this year’s Sony inthemix50 took a hit from last year’s impressive placing, The Potbelleez are going larger than ever, announcing that they’re taking part in the huge Global Gathering in Korea this September.

Kicking off on September 18th in Seoul, Global Gathering Korea will find The Potbelleez sharing the mainstage with the likes of The Prodigy, Underworld, Pendulum, Royksopp and MSTRKRFT.

Clearly a big win for the band, the slot apparently arose from super producer Mark Ronson’s glowing recommendation of the band whom he caught out here in 2008. It must be nice to have friends like that!

Stick with ITM for more coverage of the band’s Global Gathering triumph and in the meantime check out The Potbellez’s clip for Trouble Trouble below.
