Tantrums. Wobblies. Dummy spits. Walk offs. Verbal abuse. Threats of mayhem and violence. In the world of dance music, it happens a whole lot more than it should, and since the advent of the internet and social networking, it’s all whole lot more public than it used to be too. We shouldn’t be too surprised. With great talent, comes even greater egos!

Nonetheless, we’ve seen some spectacular spills over the years, and in light of this the team at ITM decided it was time to compile a list of the greatest ‘Artist Outbursts’ in recent memory. We’re talking, Muscles taking it to his own record label on his blog. Danny Howells having the cranks with his warmup DJ for playing too fast, too early. Laurent Garnier getting grumpy with Ed Banger. And Marilyn Manson threatening journalists with death. We can assure you, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Without further ado, prepare to be shocked, dismayed, titillated and ultimately amused by ITM’s most disgraceful ‘Artist Outbursts’. It’s time to get cranky!

What about Menno De Jong getting into a punch up with a sound engineer and sticking his finger up at a stage manager? Maybe he was justified in doing so but still.
