Let’s take a break from the rash of breaking news out there to sit back and embrace what we all know the Internet was truly built for; watching really cool shit. Take this, it’s a tasty little video that mashes Ed Banger and Mr Oizo with the well loved ‘80s family romp Short Circuit. Cool shit indeed.

Put together last week by a particularly clever fan still holding out for the label’s next compilation, the clip marries some chopped and spliced scenes from Short Circuit with Mr Oizo’s Yves track from last year’s Ed Rec 3 compilation package. Subsequently, we’ve got Short Circuit’s lovable little robot Johnny 5 stuttering out a roll-call of the Ed Banger artist collective complete with some cyborg dance moves and an Alley Sheedy breakdown.
