Dutch heavyweight Tiesto has been making a whole storm of noise and buzz recently, getting people into a frenzy what with the staggering list of tour dates that he’s got lined up for the Australian summer. The mighty trance-man has also been attracting some attention for his new stylistic curveballs, which has seen Tiesto collaborate with rappers like Dizzee Rascal and Three Six Mafia and rope in some indie-rock vocalists for his upcoming Kaleidoscope album.

As Kaleidoscope’s October 9th release date draws closer, Tiesto is getting his marketing savvy on, teaming up with digital retailer Beatport to launch a tasty looking remix competition, giving budding producers the chance to wrap their remixing fingers around some Tiesto material.

The track to be remixed is none other than Knock You Out, one of the highlights on Kaleidoscope that features guest vocals from Metric ringleader, Emily Haines, and in a novel move, potential remixers can pick and choose which stems they want to work with or just buy the whole package for a fiver.
