Ed Banger’s favourite pint-sized MC, Uffie, has been on one hell of a ride these past four or so years. Having landed a spot in the Ed Banger stable just as the French label was blowing up, Uffie has since been grabbing attention for some hard-partying, break-ups and breakdowns, an out of the blue pregnancy and frankly, not a whole lot of music. With a recorded output you could count on two hands, it seemed as though a full length Uffie record would be further off than Dr. Dre’s Detox, yet news is finally out that the rapstress will indeed be releasing her debut album in the beginning of stages 2010.

According to FACT magazine, the MC has at last wrapped up studio work and will be putting out the LP, aptly entitled Sex Dreams & Denim Jeans, on Ed Banger next year. The news report also reveals that the first single from the album will feature a guest spot from The Neptunes linchpin Pharrell Williams, no less.

With Pharrell adding a little bit of US glitz to Sex Dreams & Denim Jeans, Uffie might just be able to pull off her hipster-hop ambitions, especially considering she’s already recruited the likes of SebastiAn, Mr Oizo, Feadz and Mirwais, as Busy P told ITM back in August.
