Reckon you’ve got some star potential locked away somewhere inside you? Well now might be the perfect time to unleash it as Future Music Festival electro-punkers Does It Offend You, Yeah? have put out an open call to fans, inviting them to feature on the British band’s upcoming record.
According to the NME, the DIOYY crew put the call out on their website recently, asking fans to submit some home recording to go on a new track.
“What we want you to do is make a recording of yourself shouting ‘YEAH!’”, the band said in their message to potential collaborators.
Okay, so maybe reel in those superstar ambitions, as contributing fans won’t be laying down extensive hooks and verses a la Jay-Z, but that’s still pretty damn cool move from the group.
Presumably, festival revellers will be singing to the new material when the band arrives for Future Music Festival in February next year, which is already looking like the young band’s graduation to the big time. Stay tuned to our festival page for more updates and information.
