UK dance punk outfit Late of the Pier are set to release their new single Blueberry on December 14. Produced by Disco 3000 DJ/producer Erol Alkan who was recently in the country for Parklife, this much-anticipated track will be the Pier’s first release since their 2008 debut album Fantasy Black Channel.
‘Blueberry’ marks what the band have said is a new chapter for their musical growth. “The past few years have given us a lot to think about and feel…and now we begin to bring to life our imaginations,” the group told NME.com.
Initially available as a download in December, the track will later be released in February next year as a 12-inch vinyl, also featuring another new single Best In the Class.

I wouldn't call them 'Dance punk'...whatever they are, they're a very clever band. Erol finished with 'Best In the Class' at Parklife.
