You may remember from earlier this year when The Black Eyed Peas were accused of ripping off Adam Freeland’s track Mancry in their Party All The Time single. well as it turns out, they’ve admitted their theft and settled out of court. It remains unknown just how much the Peas coughed up for the settlement, but Freeland has been offering via Twitter to shout a beer to anyone who tells him to “Party All The Time.”

Plagarism claims are nothing new for the Peas, either; frontman Will i. Am was forced to drop a Daft Punk sample of Around the World from his 2007 solo track I Got It From My Momma, and rumours are surfacing that the forthcoming BEP album The E.N.D. may endure even more illegal sample settlements.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!

Terrific. Thank god Freeland got compensation for having his music used by someone who doesn't have the decency to admit when something isn't his. I wonder if Freeland will push for a production credit in all the fineprint of future releases of Party All
