Long-time children’s entertainer, and one of Australia’s most famous musical exports, Rolf Harris has revealed he has been courted by the likes of Dizzee Rascal and The Chemical Brothers for musical collaborations.
Harris told AngryApe.com that Dizzee had approached him recently, and revealed he’d love to work with the rapped by doing “all of his weird sound effects.” Harris also went on to say that one of the best things about working with new artists is the fact that it “keeps you feeling young.”
Surprisingly, Rolf already has an agreement in place for a collaborative project with The Chemical Brothers, but to date both parties have been too busy to make it happen. He is, however, busy preparing for the release of his Christmas single with aging 80s-rockers Status Quo. It’s called Christmas In The Sun and is due out this week.
