Deadmau5 is known for some of the flyest beats around but who knew he would take it to another level at his recent New Year’s Eve Ministry of Sound set at O2 Arena in London.
Joel Zimmerman, the house DJ’s real name, reached for the skies and flew above the crowd as he made an intro wearing his trademark mouse mask and a superhero costume while the old Superman theme song blasted through the air. Check out the video of that below for a taste of the crazy.
During the performance of his hit Ghosts N Stuff, the famed electro-house DJ bent down and put on a ghost costume (a white sheet with two eye-holes cut out) before being lifted in a harness above the screaming audience.
Apparently the man in the massive mouse mask is the first to do such a stunt. This could be proof that DJs can be seen and not just heard as they aren’t well known for their stage presence.
