Well draw me a dirty moustache and call me Buck, this is a day I never thought we’d see. But wow, here it is, sterling UK electronica squad Massive Attack have revealed their appreciation for pornography in a new video project, Life Of A Pornstar, which is the visual accompaniment to Paradise Circus off the band’s new Heligoland LP. Cue slap bass!

We realise that we’re a bit late to the party, but the short film to accompany Paradise Circus shows a candid interview with now 73 year old former porn starlet Georgina Spelvin, with Spelvin’s interview intercut with various scenes from her past X-rated works (Spelvin’s resume boasts impressive porn titles such as The Devil In Miss Jones, Over Sexposure, Teachers And Cream and The Jade Pussycat).

Easy porn jibes aside, the video is a pretty gripping (oops) piece of film, with the aged Spelvin speaking openly and honestly about spending her life in the porn industry. And it’s all set to one of Heliogoland’s standout tracks, making it another creative win for Massive Attack.
