In an ongoing effort to share anything and everything with his online followers, Canadian electro troublemaker Joel Zimmerman – who we know best by his rodent-themed moniker Deadmau5 – has taken to the good ol’ interwebs to share the gruesome coverage of his recent dental surgery. Palm to face in 3,2,1…

Following on from his previous online antics which saw the polarising producer publicise his recent trips to the tattoo parlour (unintentionally awesome alliteration!),and his love of cats, Deadmau5 has taken to his Facebook profile page to share photos from a dental operation and the results aren’t pretty.

From what we can gather, after a gruelling few years of constant touring Joel has finally found himself in one place long enough to get some much needed dental work done. He’s partway through the process at the moment, with crowns to be put on the offending front-teeth.

As you can see in the pic above – or in gruesome detail on his profile page – the severity of the dental work is pretty apparent, with Zimmerman’s mouth appearing extremely eff’d up. But the good news is at least now Deadmau5 has an excuse to whip out his seldom-used mau5headgear. Oh no we didn’t!!
