It was with a furrowed brow that this week ITMers saw that none other than Scottish larrikin Mylo had been named on the bill for this year’s Bestival bash in Europe this September. Seriously, what the hell happened to Mylo? Destroy Rock & Roll – for all its scene building brilliance – was released six whole years ago. Seriously, what the hell happened?
So naturally we got to thinking about Mylo and all the other artists out there who have been unseasonably quiet recently. Not surprisingly, there was a lot to think about with a plethora of sadly inactive artists springing to mind.
Of course there are those who have shaken off dormancy and bounced back better than ever. This year alone we’ve seen big returns from the likes of Itch-E & Scatch-E and of course UK legends Massive Attack who’re currently in the midst of a mind-blowing national tour.
inthemix has put together a look at some of those said spectacular comebacks as well as those artists who’re still missing in action as part of our special on dance music’s ‘Lost & Found’.
