Love them or loathe them, Italian stallions The Bloody Beetroots have become a legitimate force to be reckoned with in modern dance music in the last 12 months, and in May they’ll be back in Australia for the debut of the Creamfields festival with their live incarnation Death Crew 77.

Following some disparaging comments last week where band leader Bob Rifo took aim ‘pseudo-DJs’ out there it would seem as though the Death Crew 77 side of The Bloody Beetroots is here to stay. With that in mind, we thought we’d bring you the first taste of what we can expect to see at Creamfields when the ‘Beetroots arrive with their multi-member band.

Check out the photos from some of the first live shows for The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 that’ve gone down in Europe recently and get ready for an overload of mayhem and raw power from the ‘Beetroots.

people need to get over the 'would they just fuck off' shit - if you dont like them, dont read the story. it's pretty simple. no one is holding a gun to your head and making you click the link.

Not a huge fan of them in general, but that looks pretty rockin'. Are they just playing the same songs as before, or new material?

Tim - it's artists like this that are ruining dance music. We have a right to hate them and everything they stand for.

i hope their live stuff lives up to their rep they have built. I'll be seeing them in the ACT for Warehouse so hopefully they pull it off or i'll be one unhappy punter

I think this is what they're aiming for. They aim to provoke, and if its love or hate they don't care, those people are still talking about them.

wowk - they certainly aren't my cup of tea, but that kind of opinion is so uselessly conceited. do you really think if the bloody beetroots had never existed that all the kids who're mad about their sound would be into something you deem more credible/wor

I think this was an inevitable move for the BB's, as it's how they started out.
