A dearly departed favourite event from the 2009 Australian dance music calender, ID&T’s monolithic Trance Energy festival is still reigning strong in its Netherlands home, looking to be as big as ever when the event kicks off in just a few weeks on April 3rd. And big just got bigger with the announcement that Trance Energy 2010 would be getting an extra boost from the biggest trance DJ in the world himself, Armin Van Buuren.
Joining the already massive lineup that features the likes of Above & Beyond, Alex Kidd, BT, Markus Schulz and many more, Armin will turn in a guest appearance to hordes of trance-loving revellers in the Dutch metropolis of Utrecht.
But heres’ the catch, he’ll be playing his set via a satellite feed direct from New York, where he’ll be throwing down bombs as part of the 450th episode of his long running A State Of Trance radio show.
As we’re sure many ITMers will attest, any Armin is better than no Armin, so you can be certain that Trance Energy fans will be blowing their lids with excitement ahead of the event. If this is the straw that’s broken the trance-camel’s back and convinced you to book some flights and get over to the bash, hit up www.Trance-Energy.com for the last run of tickets. Expect lasers galore!
