What was certainly one of the most anticipated dance music events on the Australian calendar in 2009, the mega-sized Trance Energy festival has now become one of the most sorely missed events in the community (check here to read all about the events behind Trance Energy’s exit from Australia). But although it has bowed out from our country, Trance Energy is still reigning overseas, as evidenced by the massive turn-out over the weekend when 2010’s Trance Energy returned home to the Netherlands.

Boasting a massive lineup that featured the likes of Above & Beyond, BT and even Armin van Buuren playing a set via satellite, this year’s Trance Energy was as big as ever and you can see all the action for yourself with some of the extremely sexy photos now up on inthemix.

stop blaming melbourne , the od's wasn't the only factor , Sydney got scaled down due to poor ticket sales Melbourne was held during the day .. when it should be a night event , it was never going to work out here , and to do all major cities over the lon

Yes it is sad that TE didn't happen or will happen in Australia. I think the Trance scene is so much bigger over in Europe, but Australia is making a come back! :-) For me personally quality Trance is where it's at, can't be said abt many of the new sty
