ITM pres. So they think they can make dance music?

It’s a sparklingly clear reality to all of us ITMers that the bigger that the dance music scene continues to grow, the more and more people will try to muscle in, jump on the bandwagon and take their bite of the clubbing pie.

Just last week dubstep fans died a little inside when we reported the news that none other than Britney Spears – or more likely an A&R rep trying to salvage some shreds of edge and cool – had recruited UK bass wobbler Rusko to produce for her forthcoming record.

Of course it didn’t begin there, we’ve been seeing other popstars, thug rappers, divas and indie types pilfering from dance music’s treasure troves for a while now with a bunch of club producers happily dishing out their goodies (*cough Guetta cough*).

And with so many people trying to wedge their way into our clubs, we have to wonder who’s actually doing it right and managing to pull off some authentic dance music makeovers and who’s falling flat on their opportunistic arses? There’s only one way to find out, so have a look at the gallery below and see our assessment!

Not Guettas fault. Guetta music was in response to kayne and all those RnB wannabe's. And he owned them, at there own game. Kayne who??
