The sexual attractiveness of some of dance music’s elite DJs isn’t something that inthemix normally likes to stoop down to discuss partly because it comes off as juvenile and demeaning to judge a DJ’s worth not on their music but on how pretty they are even if they can’t mix a salad, and also because we’re real journalists who have cats to photoshop into pictures.

But having said that we just couldn’t leave this alone after our interests were piqued by a piece on TheChive this week in which the web portal proclaimed their pick for ‘the world’s hottest DJ’, naming former Playboy model turned DJ Colleen Shannon as the hottest woman on decks.

Now this is not the first time that Ms. Shannon has been branded with the title, indeed, her website boldly touts her as “The World’s Sexiest DJ”, but with so many DJs out there how can the case be so open and shut?

Realising that we have at our fingertips one of the largest choruses of dance music lovers and clubbing aficionados right here on inthemix and that that community would probably have something to say on the matter, we thought we’d throw it out there for your opinions.
