ITM already buzzed about the return of not-so-new-ravers Klaxons last month when the band broke back into the indie-dance scene with viral single Flashover, an apparent precursor to their long awaited and even longer delayed second album Surfing The Void.

Produced by Ross Robinson who’s guided bands as diverse as Limp Bizkit and Blood Brothers, the sophomore effort from Klaxons will finally arrive on August 20th, courtesy of Modular Recordings locally of course.

As well as releasing the tracklisting for Surfing The Void – which features typically bodacious Klaxon-y song titles like Cypherspeed and Future Memories – the UK lads also unveiled the album’s cover art which basically looks like a self portrait of the internet. In short, we love it. And we’d go as far to call it one of our favourite album covers ever, which is a big call, but look at it again. It’s a cat in a space suit. How is that not incredible? For a bit of fun and to get some discussion going here are 10 of our favourite album covers from 2010. Tell us what’s on your list!
