Remember when Ed Banger ruled the electro world? Justice were the next Daft Punk, Busy P ran the whole scene, and Uffie was still procrastinating on that stinker of an album. Man, what a time that was. And although the label’s profile is still running strong – check out Mr Flash’s remix of Parklife bound indie lad Darwin Deez in our free downloads section for proof – we do yearn for a return to those heady days. Yearn no more though as some new material from the combined minds of Justice and electronic auteur Mr Oizo has appeared overnight!

The new chunk of material was revealed by Oizo himself via his continually hilarious Twitter account, with the eclectic Frenchman unveiling a new soundtrack clip for his upcoming feature film, Rubber. For those of you who don’t remember ITM’s original post on the flick, Rubber is just the humble tale of a tire come to life hell-bent on murdering a cast of humans in the Californian desert. That ol’ chestnut.

As we reported, Rubber’s soundtrack comes from both Mr Oizo and Justice’s own handle-bar mo’ sporting Gaspard Auge and you can check out the first taste of their collaboration in the clip below. As you’d expect from such a pairing, the score sounds equally pumping and out of control. We can’t wait.

In other Rubber news, Oizo confirmed in a separate Twitter post that the film would indeed get a release here in Australia. So, double win! Check out another clip from the movie below, featuring a cameo appearance from Busy P himself.
