It’s not often that ITM sinks into the shallow pool of North American gangsta-rap, but we make some special considerations when the thug rappers in question fail so spectacularly.
Over in the US some people are upset about the murder of rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson, others are upset about snitchin’, and the majority are upset that Torrence Hatch, or Lil Boosie as he’s called behind the mic, might have lost a rap battle.
The heat over the baddest diss record out there has been won and lost in one fell swoop when the two rappers decided they wanted some friendly company with Louisiana police and a free stay on death row. The two southern rappers from Baton Rouge known for their hard style – Nussie being aged only 17 and Mr Boosie a 27 year old staple of the scene – must have gotten bored after a three hour Monopoly battle and decided instead to play everyone’s favorite game: Tupac and Biggie Smalls.
As reported by Rollingout.com Nussie Jackson found the wrong end of a bullet from Michael Louding, who allegedly took the $30,000 bounty put out by Lil Boosie who wanted to settle the score. How’s that? The dude couldn’t beat him in a rap battle so he had him killed? They should settle disputes in parliament that way.
Already serving time in jail for violating his parole, the FBI took their time putting together a case against Boosie while he was doing four years after attacking a man in his own home. In his best effort yet to join the infamous “27 Club” including celebrity members Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix, if the young-gun, no pun intended, is connected with the murder he faces the death penalty. (*slow clap*)
Maybe someone should have told him both Tupac and Biggie die at the end of the game.
