For over a year now inthemix has been in various states of giddy anticipation about Disney’s futuristic tech-epic, Tron Legacy. Although that excitement was kicked off by the fact that none other than Daft Punk would be composing the soundtrack to the film, it’s safe to say that after all the jaw-dropping production coverage to emerge from the film that Tron Legacy has become an event that the bulk of the ITM massive are dying to see.

And so it’s with an ecstatic grin that inthemix now has the honour of hosting the premiere of the brand new Tron Legacy trailer – EDIT: Okay, so we’re not the first, but at least we’re one of the first – just as the film makes a grand return to this year’s Comic-Con bash in the US. Yeah, we’re pretty stoked.

For a refresher course on the Joseph Kosinski helmed pic, Tron Legacy picks up a good 25 years after the original Tron, with protagonist Sam venturing into Tron’s digital world to find his missing father Flynn, and it’s all set against some jaw-dropping effects and 3D visuals.

There’s almost no point writing anything more on this as you should probably just go and be blown away by the new trailer with all its awesome style and, yes, new music from our favourite pair of robots, Daft Punk!
