With its administration dramas behind it, London’s fabric nightclub has announced details of its next 15-hour party. While the first couple of Fabric On & On…& On parties banged from Saturday night till Monday morning with guests of the ilk of Sasha, Carl Craig and Michael Mayer, the new format sees the last record spun at 2pm on Sunday afternoon (still not too shabby a session).

The next edition on Saturday 21 August is headlined by Chilean superstar Ricardo Villalobos, a man well-versed in long, hazy nights. Joining him in Room One is his compatriot Dinky and The Modern Deep Left Quartet, the live pairing of Wagon Repair labelmates Cobblestone Jazz and The Mole. Meanwhile, Slam, Terry Francis and Swayzak take charge of Room Two and Three.

This ITMer was lucky enough to be in London for the last ‘On’ party, which featured the debut of the Tiefschwarz live show alongside The Revenge, Holy Ghost! and Jamie Jones (the standout of the night). By 9am, the dancefloor was still committed if not packed, with Perlon’s Zip playing a set of suitably heady minimal techno. However, it seems the party series needs a DJ of Villalobos’ stature to really galvanise the marathon concept – so if you’re in London next month, this should be a big one.
