By now it’s safe to assume that German clubber Boys Noize – or Alex Ridha as the man behind the crystal skull is known – just doesn’t sleep. As well prepping for his summer return as a part of the Summadayze festivals, Boys Noize is also readying a new record label focusing on some more techno releases.

Called BNR Trax, the techno imprint is set to shoot out of Boys Noize’s long-running label, Boys Noize Records, with the first release coming out in September.

Speaking to The Kool Kids recently, Ridha explained that the label will be a digital-only deal and has spun out of his growing love of techno.

“The first release will be Electric Rescue,” Ridha said. “He released on Cocoon and it’s really more techno stuff. The second release is going to be new Jan Driver. And the third release is going to be from a Dutch guy actually, called Benny Rodrigues,” he said before adding the disclaimer, “no, it’s not Dutch House. By far not. I hate Dutch House.”

Boys Noize fans will also be pumped to hear that Ridha dropped hints about his own upcoming material, saying he’s been collaborating with Ed Banger dudes Feadz and Mr. Oizo. If they turn out to be half as good as his work with Erol Alkan then fans are in for a treat.
